Frequently asked questions

How do i book an appointment?

  • An online triage form is available via the practice website under the appointment section or through the NHS app book an appointment.
  • A response will be communicated to you via text message with an outcome which has been assessed directly by a clinician

How do i register for online services?

I am new to the NHS, what health checks and vaccinations are available?

How do i access my blood test or scan results?

  • All GP ordered test results are available online after the results have been reviewed by a clinician and are available via the NHS online services or the NHS App. If an appointment is required to discuss your results this will be communicated to you via our reception team, Normal results are not communicated however can be viewed via your login details.

How do i make a request for a repeat prescription and what is the time frame required?

  • All repeat prescriptions are processed within 48 hours by the following methods:
            • NHS App
            • Email
            • Via the prescription box located in the front reception
            • Please note acute medication or medication issued in the past may not show available on the NHS App

What services do you offer?

I am being recalled for an appointment that i have had previously, why is this?

  • You may receive invitations for annual check-ups specifically for long-term conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma, hypertension) to ensure your treatment is up-to-date.
  •  Proactive checks for smoking status, blood pressure monitoring, or vaccination invitations.
  • Regular reviews of your prescriptions to minimize risks.
